I don't have my own bike, can i still come on the course?
You need to have a bike so we suggest renting one from a bike shop in town- Outside Sports Bike or Racer's Edge have a great range. If you're looking to buy, take a bike out on a demo ride or look out for when one of the shop's are having a demo day. Alternatively, beg, borrow or steal from a friend until you know what you'd like to buy and have saved up to buy it.
I'm really unfit, will it be too hard for me?
Please don't let that hold you back, use the course as a reason to start walking and doing more exercise in preparation. The course is primarily a skills course and is not about going for a long ride, we figure you can do that on your own time.
I've had bad experiences on my bike in the past and i'm not sure i want to do the course, any advise for me?
Sign up for the 5 week session and come along to the first week, if you're not convinced after then, we'll give you your money back. You are the person the course is aimed at, we hope to create an atmosphere that you feel comfortable to learn in.
I'm really hard core and just want to learn how to huck massive jumps. Is this course for me?
We believe that everyone can take something from the course, the top competitive riders in the world are still coached and we think you'll learn skills, tricks and tips that you never knew. Everything starts from having a solid base to build onto. The catch is that you have to come with an open mind to learn new ways and a willingness for your riding to be broken down and built back up. If that's not you, then please don't sign up.
